MARCH is now upon us with a wide selection of races, of varying distances for all club runners.
At the beginning of the month Launceston Road Runners had the Bideford half which due to a slight marshalling error saw the field of a thousand runners going the wrong way and adding an extra third of a mile to their race, but still some good times were recorded.
On March 8 the third race in the grand prix series the Duchy marathon took place, along with a shorter 20 mile race ideal for those training for marathons in April.
The end of the month provided the fourth race in the series at Helston, a multi terrain race combining stoney lanes, sandy beach, coastal footpath and road, with a fine set of results from local runners.
