WITH a full programme and a town hall packed to the rafters, this made a positive start for the Mayor's Launceston Town Hall celebration concert on Saturday (January 29).

The concert, held by Launceston Mayor Paul O'Brien and the town council, received great support with every last ticket being sold 48 hours before the start.

With compere Tony Cox on the mic, the night kicked off with Launceston Town Band followed by duo Darren Jeffery and Shelley Coulter-Smith.
