YEAR 8 student at Sir James Smith’s Community School, Camelford, Harry Page and his pony Nikita (pictured) have an important challenge ahead of them this June.

Harry and Nikita have been selected as members of the South West Junior Boys Tetrathlon team.

This includes running, shooting, swimming and riding — with the riding phase usually taking place over fixed cross-country fences, although it can be in an arena as a substitute.

They will be part of a national teams competition at Moreton Morrell College, Warwickshire, on June 4 and 5 — with other competitors coming from throughout the UK and Ireland.
