AN ILLUSTRATION student from Kilkhampton, looking to put together a community social history project, is asking if people born before 1950 in the Bude area could help contribute towards its creation. Clair Roberts says the assignment, part of her degree, represents a lovely opportunity for people to see how their stories could unfold into art and biographies for the future. She said: "I am looking for anyone who would like to be interviewed who remembers the ration years between 1939 and 1954. We all know what happened in world war two; we know about the general situation and mostly we hear about the Blitz and the stories of people in the cities, but what about the personal memories of people from here?"
