Bude Men's 'A' team have completed the NCL part of their fixtures this year which involves both singles and doubles play. Gaining 20 points from a possible 30 seems good enough for a certain 2nd place finish and overall a very good representation.

Recently the team have played 2 of their 8 fixtures in the county's premier league doubles. Away to Bodmin 'A' they suffered a very tight 9-4 loss with 3 of the 4 matches all going to the final 1 set each champions tiebreak situation where they were unfortunately able to convert only once .

Home to St Agnes 'A' was even closer, with it finishing 2 matches each and level on sets it had to go to game countback to decide the winner which was Bude by just one game! End result 6-4. The team are Gary Bickle, Matt Bosustow, Joe Reeve and Josh Shouten de Jel.

The ladies 'B' team were in action again last week and this time played hosts to Truro 'B'. Amy Gill and Claire Cardoo lost both their matches as did Gretel Shaw and Joan Coney, however Gretel and Joan did take a set off the Truro 1st pair giving Bude 1 point. Bude 'B' 1, Truro 'B' 10.
