A VACANCY exists on Camelford Town Council, following the resignation of Alan Crosby.
Councillors learned of the resignation at their meeting on April 2.
Mr Crosby has been a councillor since July 2013 and has been involved in the recent expansion of the services being offered by the council — in particular through the recruitment of a new general maintenance assistant.
He has also been involved in work on Churchfield Car Park, the community allotments and Camelford skatepark.
Mr Crosby, who owns Atlantic Motor Services at Valley Truckle, leaves a vacancy on the council, which will be filled either by election or co-option in the coming weeks.
