SCOUTS will be exchanging their daily routines in Holsworthy for a traditional taste of Japanese life in the snowy ice-capped mountains of Nagano this summer.
Explorer Scout Hannah Presswell, Scout Abigail Johnson and Explorer Scout Abigail Stone from Holsworthy are embarking on the trip of a lifetime — as the Post previously reported they have been chosen to attend the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan next summer.
The girls recently discovered they will be living with a family from Nagano as part of their adventure.
More than 3,000 young people and adult volunteers from across the UK are joining 30,000 others from almost every country in the world at the jamboree held in Kirara-hama from July 28 to August 8.
