IT’S that time of year again as members of the carnival committee get plans well under way for this year’s Camelford Carnival, which will be held on Saturday, October 29, at 7pm.

This year’s carnival beneficiaries will be the Camelford First Responders and the Lanteglos Church. Grab those winter coats and go along to enjoy an evening of carnival frivolity and support a local charity in the process.

This year’s royalty, newly elected Camelford Carnival Queen Savannah McConnell, will be crowned by Olivia Ferguson at the Clease Hall in Camelford on Friday, October 21, at 7.30pm with a concert to be given by the Camelford Town Band.

Any one wishing to enter the carnival, entries are been taking at Stephens Home Hardware in Camelford.
