A BUDE woman who has been chosen to take part in a year-long pie taste challenge has said she would like it to last forever.
Sarah Clarke-Feltham applied to become one of Pukka Pie's 'Supper Pie-oneers' on Facebook at the end of last year.
As one of the 100 pie tasters, Sarah and her family — husband Tony and children Robert and Victoria — receive vouchers to exchange in a supermarket for one of the pies and then she has to upload pictures and write a review on the Pukka Pies Facebook page.
Sarah said: "I said that I wouldn't mind doing that. We all like pies. I'm enjoying it. You get a good amount of meat in them. I'd like it to go on forever."
The pie taste challenge follows a survey commissioned by Pukka Pies that revealed that 60% of people in Britain are not eating a traditional meat and two veg meal anymore, but instead are swapping proper dinners for quick-fix snacks such as crisps, sandwiches, cereals and instant soup.
