THE arrival of a visitor from afar, with his sack full of gifts for a waiting crowded hall as cooked breakfasts were tucked into, created a wonderful occasion on a cold and damp morning in St Breward in the lead up to Christmas.

This is the second time St Breward village hall has organised a Breakfast with Santa, and it is clearly now a well established seasonal hit event with visitors from not only the village, but from further afield, sampling the breakfast, and to meet the rotund white whiskered man in red from the North Pole.
