SANTA and his team of elves delivered festive cheer around Delabole on Tuesday, December 19.

The annual event is organised by the village firefighters.

Santa set off in his sleigh, following one of the fire engines, and made his way round the village, stopping off at various points to greet the many excited youngsters who came out to see him.

Every child was presented with a goodie bag, including some treats and a leaflet about fire safety.

Firefighters were also inviting donations towards the Firefighters’ Charity.

Just over £300 was raised.
