A PLANNING application to change the use of a former dental surgery in Holsworthy to a café/restaurant and beautician has been approved by Torridge District Council.

According to documents submitted to the council, the premises at 12 Victoria Square had recently been given planning permission for two residential dwellings but this permission had never been implemented.

They stated the proposed beauty salon ‘is a well-established existing business in Holsworthy town centre and is looking to relocate to a larger new premise’.
