THE Craig Chapman Salon, in Launceston, has been appointed as ambassadors of Bosom Buddies for the South-West.
Bosom Buddies was founded by Pauline Gerils, a breast cancer survivor. She set up Bosom Buddies to raise money, to fund Breast Cancer Nurses, and promote awareness of the disease to teenage girls.
The mission of Bosom Buddies UK, is to go into comprehensive schools and educate Year 11 girls, on signs and symptoms of breast cancer, and how to check themselves.
Pauline chose the Craig Chapman salon to become ambassadors for Bosom Buddies due to their "philanthropic spirit and dedication to raising awareness for cancer charities."
