RESIDENTS of Roydon Lane in Launceston says they have had no rubbish, re-cycling or green waste collection for three weeks.

Since the new Cory contract started on April 1, 16 houses have had their rubbish piling up. Diane Crocker local resident said: "It is just ridiculous we have telephoned the helpline last week and were promised a collection with in 48 hours but we are still waiting."

Cornwall Councillor Adam Paynter said: "I have reported this issue by email and telephone but no action. I will now have to call in environmental health as rats have been seen amongst the black bags."
