WITH just a few simple ingredients, any one of the 118,000 visitors could make a great long weekend out of the Royal Cornwall Show which took place on Thursday to Saturday, June 6 to 8, writes Natalie Venning.

With all the sounds, smells, tastes and sights, it can be overwhelming stepping into the Wadebridge Showground, knowing you are faced with over 1,000 trade stalls of Cornish produce, crafts and wares, award winning animals from hounds to horses, and a host of other delights, from stage acting, to agricultural machines and all kinds of demonstrations.

The show tagline 'prepare for enjoyment overload' is none too far from the truth, but what delicious memories can really be made?
