WHILE visiting the Launceston Rotary Community Shop on Thursday, April 25 President of Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) John Minhinick helped present cheques and defibrillators to the town.

Two of the Heartstart Defibrillators were presented to the town hall and Launceston College, with the third to be held in the White Hart Hotel to be available for use in the town centre.

After that he helped present some cheques, also from the profits of the Rotary Community Shop, to representatives from: Launceston Foodbank, Launceston Pre-School, Launceston Monday Club, Launceston College Phoenix Football Club, Tregadillett Brownies, Werrington Cricket Club and Launceston Amateur Boxing Club.
