LAUNCESTON Rotary Club has opened a pop-up shop in the former Cornish Delicacies building on Church Street.

The club had previously occupied shops in Southgate Street, where it had been very successful — the Post reported on July 31 that the community shop had passed £100,000 in receipts.

The club had to leave its previous premises, 4 Southgate Street, which has been listed as sold subject to contract.

The Church Street pop-up shop opened on Monday and the club is trying to locate more permanent premises.
