FOR many years District 1290 of Rotary International has hosted a Group Study Exchange team from abroad, and their first hosts have traditionally always been members of the Launceston Rotary Club.

The next day, the team was welcomed to the town by Launceston Town Mayor, Cllr Rob Tremain, who later gave them a conducted tour of the town. Later in the evening, Rotarians and their guests were entertained by a presentation by their visitors on Romania and the activities of Rotary within that country.
