LAUNCESTON Rotary Club has donated £500 to local causes that care for local elderly people.

Rotarian Barrie Boundy presented a cheque for £250 recently, from the Rotary Community Shop, to Dr De Glanville (chairman) and Bill Roberts (clerk), for the Launceston Eventide Trust.

The money will be used to help subsidise with the cost of providing chiropody care to people in Launceston town who attend the Chiropody Clinic.
