The Rotary Club of Saundersfoot celebrated their 39th anniversary last Monday evening at the St. Brides Hotel, Saundersfoot.
President-elect Ian Nicholls deputised for president Neil Sefton in his absence and extended a warm welcome to all guests.
Guest speakers for the evening were district governor, Sandra Townsend, who praised the club for the work they undertake within the community, region and internationally, whilst parliamentary candidate Simon Hart gave an extremely comical address of a non-political nature, similarly congratulating the club on their involvement within the community.
Saundersfoot were joined in their celebrations by a large contingent of Rotarians from their mother club Tenby, Inner Wheel Club of Tenby, Rotary Club of Pembroke and Saundersfoot Probus Club.
Thanks were extended to representatives from Folly Farm for their assistance on Kids Out and to Wiseman's Bridge Inn, the normal meeting venue of the club.
