SOME 120 senior citizens were guests of Holsworthy Rotary Club at their annual strawberry tea in the Memorial Hall on Saturday afternoon, June 14. They were welcomed by Rotary president Roger Young and entertained by David Robinson on keyboard while members served a tea consisting of cakes, sandwiches, scones and strawberries and cream. After tea cheques totalling £2,400, money raised by the Rotary Musical Extravaganza in March, were presented by Robert Cole to Abbeyfield, Bradford pre-school playgroup, HATS, Arscott Ladies Choir, North Devon Hospice, the Holsworthy Moorland Training Group and Holsworthy Primary School.
