Rev Roger Greene made a return visit to Hallworthy Market on Sunday to preach at the annual Rogation Sunday Service. The service was led by ministers of the local Anglican and Methodist Churches, with the singing being led by St Gennys Silver Band. Whilst he was the Superintendent Minister of the Week St Mary Methodist Circuit, Rev Greene inaugurated the Market Chaplaincy at Hallworthy Market. He made the journey on Sunday from his present appointment at St Just, in the West Penwith Circuit, to be involved in the service. During the evening, prayers were offered for this year's farm crops.

Many people who attended the service are pictured above being led by the musical director of St Gennys Silver Band, Mr Tony Burton.
