TRUSTEES of the Robert Johns Leukaemia Fund (RJLF) have presented cheques for over £8,000 to two hospital units.

Founder and dad of Robert, who passed away after battling leukaemia, paid a visit to the Plymouth Children’s Oncology Unit recently, where he presented a cheque for £5,800 to representatives from the hospital.

The charity has also raised £2,500 for the Royal Marsden Leukemia Research Unit, allowing important research to continue in the fight against leukaemia.

Bob said: “I want to thank everyone for all their support and help regarding the fund, once again, and my heartfelt and humble thanks to Twin Harmony and Johnny Cowling for their longstanding support and friendship over the years, which is still ongoing, also The Countrymen, who have taken us on board as well.

“I really do appreciate what they are doing and once again, a big thank you to all.”
