LAUNCESTON Town Hall was packed on the evening of Sunday, March 31, for a fundraiser in aid of the Robert Johns Leukaemia Fund.
Organised by founder of the charity, and Robert’s father, Bob Johns, the event included a fantastic line-up — Twin Harmony, Johnny Cowling and The Countrymen.
Kicking off the evening were Twin Harmony — sisters Jenna and Morwenna Matthews from Cornwall, who had the audience captivated with their voices.
Next up was Johnny Cowling, who interspersed some singing with his unique brand of humour that had the audience in stitches!
Closing the night were The Countrymen, who have notched up a sound local following.
Bob said he was delighted with how the event went.
“I’d like to thank everyone for their continued support; it is really humbling. Also thanks to the team at the town hall and all of our wonderful acts. Keep your eyes peeled for news of the next fundraiser!”
