REPRESENTATIVES of the emergency services held a road safety talk for adults at Clawton Primary School last week.

Staff from the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, road safety officer PC Mark Goulding and Holsworthy PC Andy Moakes attended, giving talks and answering questions.

The event was to give the public an opportunity to speak with their local services about road safety.

Police Community Support Officer Raquel Rowe said: "The Road Safety Talk didn't go well as I anticipated —because of the stormy weather we had that evening we only had a few people turn up. But nevertheless we had the fire brigade who had shown video clips about road safety awareness."
