IT was good to read in the Review of the new group who hope to deal with road safety in the Forest.

The Gloucestershire Group of Advanced Motorists has successfully obtained funding from Gloucestershire's Police and Crime Commissioner for up to 10 Skill for Life courses for young drivers under the age of 26 in the county over the current financial year.

As this age group has statistically the highest number of accidents, including fatal accidents, this is one way of equiping these young drivers to be as safe as possible on our roads.
