A ROAD in Launceston was closed this morning (Tuesday) after a lorry collided with walls of properties on Castle Street at around 8.30am.

The road was closed for around four hours to allow the lorry to be recovered.

Police said Highways would be requested to clear the debris from the road from where the lorry had collided with walls, and that speaking to the owners whose property had been damaged would be part of their enquiries.
