Lucinda McAlpine's 'Riding through the Recession' countrywide tour starts in Cornwall at the Tall Trees Equestrian Arena, Davidstow, Cornwall tomorrow (Friday) at 7pm.
The 'roadshow' comprises demonstrations by Lucinda with a group of her naturally managed competition horses. The horses work free in a group or individually, to some fantastic music. Lucinda will show just how easy it can be for horse owners to cut the cost of keeping and competing their horses in these difficult, recessional times — without compromising on quality, turnout and performance.
The equine demonstration stars appearing will range in experience from recently backed young horses through to Lucinda's top dressage contenders.
Lucinda said: "There has been a fantastic response to the news of the roadshow. I have 25 horses at home, which I look after on my own. I know how expensive it is to keep them all in tip top condition and I want to pass on the tips that has taken me years to learn — the show will be very entertaining, the horses love showing off and I choose my favourite music to show them off at their best!"
In addition to the 'Riding through the Recession' roadshow, Lucinda has been asked to provide a clinic for riders at Tall Trees on Sunday. Up to five horses and riders will receive individual 'Intuitive Riding' tuition from Lucinda throughout the day, starting at 10am. If you have a horse and want to get the best from the partnership, Lucinda will be able to help, no matter whether you are competing at the top of your tree or happily (or maybe not so happily) hacking. Spectator tickets are also available.
