VISIT from the president of the Royal Institute of British Architects on Monday gave local architects the opportunity to discuss key issues in the industry.

The Bazeley Partnership, of Bude, welcomed the arrival of RIBA president Stephen Hodder at their offices on Tuesday.

On Mr Hodder's only visit to Cornwall this year, the team had the opportunity to discuss with him key local and regional architectural projects, including their work on the £8-million redevelopment of Carbis Bay Hotel and the new eco-development of Atlantic View in Widemouth Bay.
