WEEK St Mary held its annual Revel on Saturday (September 21), organised by Churches Together.

The celebrations began on the Lower Green where the Harvest Queen's procession formed, together with the children's fancy dress entrants and led by a former harvest queen of 1967, Linda Cobbledick, carrying the revel banner they processed to the church.

Bringing up the rear of the procession was a cavalcade of vintage motor bikes. At the church, last year's harvest queen Molly Mees relinquished her title and crowned the new queen, Bethany Horrell.

The new harvest queen, her attendants, Abby Hannaford and Emily Jones and page boy Callum Johns were all dressed in purple and white, the queen and her two attendants had white fur capes, the queen was seated on a motorbike on a float which was decorated with a harvest theme.
