THERE are currently two vacancies in the Bude Ward of the Bude and Stratton Town Council, following the resignations of Cllrs Enid Greenwold and Hilary Phillips.

A by-election to fill these vacancies will be held if 10 electors from the council's Bude Ward give notice in writing by June 8, asking for an election.

If no request for an election is received, the town council will fill these vacancies by co-option.
