AN open morning was held by the Bradworthy Parish Council in Bradworthy Hall on Saturday, April 22.

The ‘Bradworthy Parish Open Event’ gave residents a chance to hear what was happening in their local area, with presentations made by a number of groups. They also had the opportunity to make suggestions about the future plans for Bradworthy.

The Bradworthy Parish Open Event has become an annual event to let the community know what is happening locally.

There were stalls and presentations by Bradworthy Badminton Club, Bradworthy Runners/Parkrun, North Devon Hospice’s Long House, Bradworthy Arts Festival, Holsworthy Rural Community Transport, Bradworthy History Group and ‘See, Hear on Wheels’.

This year there was an extra presentation on the progress of the Neighbourhood Plan.

It was an opportunity to see the newly created website and to take part in further consultations. Residents placed stickers on a large map of the area for part of the consultation process.
