A SMALL group of residents from Kensey Valley Meadow gave up a few hours on Saturday, July 21 to help to clean up the estate.

Equipment was supplied from Cornwall Council and a local gardening company attended to the weeds in the road.

A few attended to the island area that leads to one main part of the estate and others attended the to weeds.

This is a start of an ongoing project to help clean up the estate and it was good to see a small group of residents get together for the community.

Another date will be arranged to continue the work.

Thanks were expressed to all that gave up time on a Saturday to do this including Cllr Jade Farrington, Cllr Sam Allen, David, Joyce, Chris and Gem and a few welcomed children.
