THE Holsworthy neighbourhood police team held an open session in the library on Wednesday, June 6, to enable the public to voice their concerns about police related issues in the town, which police said was ‘very positive’.
PFCSO Mark James said: “It was very positive. We had a large number of local residents attend and speak to us about various issues that they are concerned about. This information will help inform our priorities over the coming weeks and months.”
The event was held between 12pm and 2pm and PFCSO James said the team was aware the time may not have suited everyone in the town but it is hoped another event can be held in the future to ensure maximum engagement with the public.
PFCSO James added: “We were aware that the time of the meeting would not be convenient for everyone and we will be holding a similar event during the evening on a future date, to be announced.”
