TWO seals that were rescued by British Divers Marine Life Medics at Wanson over the winter were released last week.
Widemouth Task Force reported on its Facebook page ‘Frustration’ and ‘Hex’, who were underweight when they were found, were released on Wednesday, April 27, after being cared for at Gweek Seal Sanctuary.
Ado Shorland, who runs Widemouth Task Force, said: “Under the great care provided by the hard working team at Gweek Seal Sanctuary, they are now prepared to fend for themselves in their ocean.
“All eleven of the rescued seals that have appeared on the Widemouth Task Force page this winter survived and most have now been released.”
