BORDON Herald reporter Martyn Ford has seen his debut novel published.

The Imagination Box, published by Faber & Faber and the first in a trilogy, was released last Thursday.

The story, aimed at children aged nine and over, is about a gadget which creates whatever the user is imagining.

As well as already signing a two-book deal in the UK, the series is set for release in the United States, published by Delacorte (Penguin Random House), and in Germany, published by Loewe.

Martyn, 27, was pleased to see the project come to life after what had been a lengthy publication process, and he hoped readers of all ages would enjoy his work.
