THE Pre School Playgroup in Holsworthy has received some much-needed renovations, which have given children more space to play and learn.
They held an opening ceremony on September 3, where the newly renovated areas were officially opened with a ribbon cutting, carried out by Hannah Piper, one of the playgroup’s trustees.
The renovations have included a new toilet space with an entrance that leads off from the playroom and there is also a more spacious reception area.
The playroom itself and an outside area have received some beautiful redecoration and new flooring has been installed throughout the building.
On the day, Mrs Piper was presented with a bouquet of flowers from Amber Williams and Ronnie Schiller.
Thanks of the group were expressed to Gaven Willams, Tom Schiller and Ivor Philips for their help with the maintenance and decorating.
Phil Cook and Will Ellicott were thanked for the excellent building work they carried out and Tina Williams, secretary, and Rachael Schiller, chairperson, for all the help they gave with the decoration of the playroom.
Holsworthy Pre School Playgroup is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9am and 3pm, and on Tuesdays from 9am to noon.
