THE residents of Launceston Community Hospital were among those in the Post area to hold a Remembrance Day service.
Residents put their crafting skills to good use to make a large pom pom poppy ahead of Remembrance Day.
A spokesperson said: “Our patients have been super busy making pom poms as part of our Remembrance Day tribute at Launceston Community Hospital.
“The giant poppy was made as part of our Meaningful Activities coordinator programme which keeps out patients minds and bodies active while they stay with us.”
Residents also helped to make a paper poppy cross, and on Armistice Day, Ann Brown and her daughter Gemma from Launceston Town Band paid them a visit and kindly played ‘The Last Post’.
