FARNHAM residents have given their take on the new redesign of the Woolmead following the unveiling of plans to completely redevelop the concrete monolith which sits at the end of East Street.

The general feeling at two public exhibitions last week was of relief, with people unanimous in the view that the area was in dire need of something, considering the current building's broken underpass and array of disused shops.
