The annual Marystowe Dog Show and Photographic Exhibition was held on Saturday, May 9 at Marystowe Church and Church Green.

The photographic exhibition, by members of the Launceston Camera Club, held in the church, attracted a good number of visitors, while on the church green there were stalls selling plants, cakes, jam, books, bric-a-brac etc. There was also a display of vintage cars, splat the rat, a coconut shy, and throw the horse shoe.

In the adjacent field a record number of 102 dogs were entered into the dog show. The event raised funds for the PDSA and St Mary's Church, Marystowe. The organisers of the event thanked Ron's Pets of Tavistock and Tavistock Country Pursuits for their generous sponsorship.
