BRADWORTHY Carnival managed to pull a big crowd despite the dismal weather on Saturday, August 25.
After a day of rain, the committee was thankful that the evening remained dry.
There was a superb effort shown by many locals in their float building efforts, some obviously having taken weeks to prepare. The atmosphere all evening in the Square was electric, with families enjoying all the free entertainment and children riding on Phil Vanstone's fairground rides and bouncy castle.
This year, Gary Bee provided the 'street entertainment' before the procession. There were also performances by the Bradworthy Primary Academy Brass Band and their rock band, 'The Younger Tones', who both played with such confidence and astounded the crowd.
