Katharine Muller has just finished competing in the four days of the Cornwall Swimming Championships.
She competed in 12 events and won each one in her 15 year-old age group. She also reached the open-age final in each event winning 6 finals (50 and 100m in freestyle, butterfly and backstroke). She came 2nd in the 200m free and 3rd in the 400m free and 200m individual medley.
Katharine achieved personal best times in nine of her events and set new championship best times in several events.
Katharine continues to train at Saltash and Liskeard four times a week as well as at Launceston and Bodmin. Her swimming coaches Martyn Bushnell at the Caradon Club and John Rhodes at the Launceston Club have led her development and helped her over the last few years.
She now starts preparing for the Western Counties Chamionships after Easter and hopefully the National Championships in the summer.
