CARNIVAL week is in full swing at Delabole. Events started last Sunday morning with a united service in the carnival marquee at the playing fields. Almost 60 people gathered for the service led by the Rev Bryan Ede and the Rev Peter Dixon. The crowning of this year's Delabole carnival royalty followed. They were crowned by outgoing royalty, Ruby Coleman and Philippa Thomas. Alison Stacey carnival secretary said she was looking foward to the grand carnival procession this Saturday (July 19) starting at 7pm.
