SIXTY-six children completed this years Summer Reading Challenge (to read at least six books during the summer holidays) and were presented with certificates and medals at Holsworthy Library by Torridge District Council Leader Barry Parsons.

The theme this year was 'Storylab', and Holsworthy Library held various storytime and craft sessions with tales from around the world, including Anansi the mischievous spider from African folk tales. The children made a giant spider, which is hanging in the library, and also made dream catchers from American Indian culture.
