A RECENT promise auction in aid of St Teath Carnival raised around £1,300 towards carnival costs.
There were nearly 50 varying lots sold, ranging from a punnet of raspberries to a builder for a day.
Tricia Richardson bought two men for half a day, while Lyn Burden's egg and bacon rounders were sold and promptly passed around the pub for everybody to enjoy.
Some of the other lots were activity based, two of which were purchased by Tim Martin including surf lessons and paintballing.
