BRADWORTHY'S season ended with a rare home defeat against champions Boca in an evenly contested game.
Mark Barrow was the first to test Brad' 'keeper Will Radford but saw his audacious lob superbly tipped away before Matt Deakin stung Radford's palms with a fizzing volley from the edge of the box. Barrow arrived unmarked to half volley in from close range before Bradworthy began to fashion a series of chances.
Toby Curtis lobbed narrowly over having beaten the offside trap and the on-rushing Boca stopper Darren Babb to a long ball. Curtis then had the ball in the net but the 'goal' was ruled out for offside before Carlo Chandler also saw the same fate rule out his close range effort.
The second half saw chances falling at both ends as each side pushed for victory, Chandler had two of Brad's best efforts but was foiled by Babb on both occasions. Liam Curtis superbly hooked the ball of his own goal line under pressure as Boca looked to double their advantage before substitute Craig Darby equalised for Brad. Darby tapped in Chandler's pass after yet again they broke the Boca offside trap.
The lead lasted barely two minutes: Barrow saw Radford out of position and superbly curled a quick corner directly in at the near post as Brad were organising their defence. Barrow completed his hat-trick from the spot after Michael Sampson was adjudged to have fouled Liam Monsell before Radford brilliantly foiled Deakin from point blank range in the final minute.
