TWO Greenpower Goblin kit cars from Egloskerry Primary School have competed in their first race of the 2014 season. Rapid Lines competed in its sixth year and Team Tulip experienced its third year of competitive races at the Greenpower South West Regional Goblin event at Newquay Airport. After months of sponsorship raising, the build and driver training, Class 3 were ready to face their first competitive races against other regional and national Goblin teams — almost 60 Goblins attended this year's event. Despite a few glitches in the lead-up to the event with batteries, the cars performed very well and there were some fast lap times for both Team Tulip and Rapid Lines.
