PEOPLE from a wide area have come together to raise money for Harry's Heroes, a charity set up to support a Launceston baby, who is receiving treatment at Bristol Hospital, and his family.
Harry, the son of Gemma Chalkley and Dan Pearman, was born on September 25. He has Down's Syndrome and a heart disorder, but following a virus has spent more than ten weeks at Bristol Children's Hospital.
The money raised from donations is used to fund the expenses incurred while Harry is in hospital, whether it be fuel costs, parking, food or child care for the other five children Gemma and Dan have.
Lucie Worth, owner of Cakesworth of Holsworthy, has donated ten boxes of cupcakes to raise money for Harry and his family.
Each box is £6 — to order, contact Lucie on the Cakesworth Facebook page. The cakes can be delivered in Launceston, Holsworthy, Bude and Okehampton areas if required, or they can be collected. Orders need to be received 24 hours in advance.
