'THE volunteer success story continues' for one Devon town, according to a town councillor. More than a hundred pupils from Holsworthy Primary devised and undertook a litter pick in areas around the school. Town councillor Ken Watson said: "My wife and I have lived in Holsworthy for over three years now and I have been on the town council for most of that time too. "A point that gets mentioned often is that it is a friendly town with great community spirit and an interest in helping others. "Sometimes that point gets bandied around by people without any real substance. That is not the Holsworthy way!" For the full report, and a round up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.

TAKING part in the litter pick are Holsworthy Primary School pupils Aalyiah Parrish and Elliott Haxell
