GOOD weather on Saturday evening helped boost the number of people who turned out to watch this year's Tintagel Carnival procession.
Tintagel Carnival Committee secretary, Mrs Kathy Rowse, told the 'Post' that there were 'hundreds' of people lining the streets.
"It was good. We were down on entries by about eight on last year, but that's not too bad."
The procession — which started in Bossiney and went down to Castle Street — was led by Mike Elford and his horse.
